Real World Impact is deploying the Co-Creation Impact Model (CCIM) through a commercial demonstration in East Africa, live, in real conditions, at scale, across an agricultural value chain. The demonstration is designed to prove what is currently unproven at this scale: that governance-grade sustainability data can flow continuously from first-mile producers to institutional investor reporting, and that the system for doing so is replicable across sectors and geographies.
A structural gap in sustainable finance
Across value chains, ESG and impact data is fragmented, top-down, and disconnected from real-world activity. Investors have limited visibility into underlying performance. Delivery actors are rarely integrated into data systems. This creates a persistent gap between real-world delivery and investment decision-making, undermining both financial performance and sustainability outcomes.
The global sustainability transition will not be achieved through isolated projects or compliance-driven reporting. It requires operational systems that align finance, data and human collaboration across entire value chains. The demonstration is designed to show that such a system is not only possible but commercially viable and ready to scale.

Gender and Inclusion: Embedded by Design
Women smallholder farmers are not simply beneficiaries of the demonstration. They are active contributors to the data architecture. Gender-disaggregated metrics are built into the CCIM data model from the outset. This is grounded in our founding research, which demonstrated that the invisibility of women in supply chain data systems is both an equity failure and an investment risk.
The infrastructure for verifiable sustainability, now available
The demonstration is the first deployment of a commercially viable model designed to scale across multiple geographies and agricultural commodity sectors. Real World Impact is moving to commercial implementation, working with investors, corporates and value chain partners to deploy the CCIM at the scale that systemic change requires.
